The Sound of His Horn

The Sound of His Horn

The Sound of His Horn by Sarban
Client: Centipede Press
Art Director: Jerad Walters

The Sound of His Horn is a 1952 dystopian time travel/alternative history novel in which the main character, Querdillon, becomes a German prisoner in WWII. He is knocked unconcious at a mysterious fence and finds himself in a Nazi-controlled world at least a hundred years after World War II on the estate of the Reich Master Forester, Count Hans von Hackelnberg.

I was commissioned to create artwork for the book, The Sound of His Horn by Sarban. For the book, I illustrated chapter heads, full page paintings, a frontispiece, endpapers, and a dust jacket. The book, published by Centipede Press, is currently being printed.
