Cristina Bencina is an award<\/span> winning artist & illustrator living in Aurora, Colorado. Born on Long Island, New York, she studied illustration and received her BFA at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.<\/p>\n

Cristina has worked on a wide range of projects including wrap-around dust jackets, book covers, interior narrative book illustrations, portraiture, album covers, advertising illustrations, conceptual artwork, and more. She has happily worked with many self published authors as well.<\/p>\n

She has worked on illustrations for books written by Stephen King,<\/em> Orson Scott Card, Erin Morgenstern, Nghi Vo, and more. Her artwork has been selected and featured in various annuals and exhibitions such as Spectrum: The Best in Contemporary Fantastic Art, American Illustration, and The Society of Illustrators in New York City.<\/p>\n

Cristina currently spends her days with her husband Stephen and two dogs – a cattledog mix named Freya and a tweenie dachshund named Corvo.<\/p>\n

In her spare time, Cristina enjoys reading & gaming.<\/p>\n
